Qatar, S Korea leaders sign agreements for more cooperation in various fields

Qatar and South Korea on Monday signed a number of memorandums of understanding across multiple sectors of strategic importance taking the strong and historical bilateral ties to greater heights. Qatar Renews Commitment to Dialogue to Resolve Crisis Created by Blockade States

State of Qatar to Support Lebanese Economy with $500 Million

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said that the State of Qatar plans to invest in Lebanese government bonds to support the country's economy. The decision was made after a meeting between HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President of the Lebanese Republic Michel Aoun during HH's visit to the sisterly Lebanese Republic where he headed the delegation of the State of Qatar at the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, which ended its fourth session in the Lebanese capital Beirut. In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said that the State of Qatar will purchase Lebanese government bonds worth $500 million.



Qatar pledges $50mn to Kuwait initiative

Following the directives of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the State of Qatar has pledged $50mn for the initiative of the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to create an Arab fund to support technology and digital economy. .


Qatar to donate $50 million for Syrian people

Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has ordered that $50 million be allocated to support Syrian refugees and displaced people, local media reported Tuesday. According to the Qatar News Agency, the donation will be used for Syrian refugees in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan as well as displaced people within Syria.
