Doha – Information Office – 19 February HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said that the State of Qatar would like to invest an additional 10 billion euros in Germany over the next five years, noting that it will become the largest Arab investor in Germany with a total investment of 35 billion euros.

Munich - information office - 17 February 2019 HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani has stressed that the State of Qatar is open for dialogue to resolve the Gulf crisis, adding that it has been calling on the blockade countries to sit at the negotiating table to discuss the causes of the crisis and work to resolve it.

QNA : Beijing Qatar and China pledged to take bilateral relations to new heights as the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani and Chinese President Xi Jinping held official talks at the Beijing People’s Palace on Thursday. At the outset of the session of official talks, HE the Japanese Prime Minister welcomed HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation, recalling HH the Amir last visit to Japan four years ago and the subsequent meetings. He said Japan attaches the highest level of confidence to Qatar as a gas exporting country. HE the Japanese Prime Minister pointed out that the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries will be marked in 2021.He also said that the State of Qatar will host the 2022 World Cup, looking forward to further communication to strengthen bilateral relations.
