 We, my-self and the staff of the Embassy, are working hard to strengthen our bilateral relations with the Republic of Sri Lanka and its friendly people. The friendly relations and cooperation between our two nations have witnessed a clear development over the past decades. The State of Qatar and the Republic of Sri Lanka remain as close friends and partners bound by mutual trust.

• Appointed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 09/11/1994.
• Worked at the Department of Information and Research during 09/11/1994 - 08/09/2000.
• Worked at the Department of Protocol during 09/09/2000 - 11/07/2002.
• Worked at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Nouakchott during 12/07/2002 - 25/09/2005.
• Worked at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Muscat during 26/09/2005 - 11/08/2012.
• Worked at the Department of African Affairs during 05/09/2012 -07/09/2013.
• Worked as Ambassador of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Djibouti during 09/09/2013 – 06/09/2017.
• Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during 07/09/2017-23/11/2019.
• Appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Sri Lanka from 24 November 2019 to date. 

 Marital Status:   Married and he has five sons.
