It is a great honor for me to represent my beloved country as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Sri Lanka and to work diligently and sincerely to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and deep-rooted cooperation between our two friendly nations.

I am delighted to serve in this generous country, which we share strong historical and fraternal ties, and whose kind people are renowned for their hospitality, spirit of love and intimacy. With Almighty Allah’s help and guidance, I look forward to enhancing our shared interests, advancing the progress and prosperity in both our friendly countries, and coordinating our stands on regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Bachelor of Laws , Beirut, Diploma in Law and Diplomacy, Fletcher school of Law and Diplomacy Tufts University, Boston.

• Worked at Qatar University from 30/04/1986 to 08/06/1988.

• Worked at the Ministry of Interior from 09/06/1988 to 01/02/1993.
• Worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Department of the Financial and Administrative Affairs during 04/10/1994 - 04/09/1999.
• Worked at the Department of European and American Affairs during 04/09/1999 - 23/07/2000.
• Worked at the office of H.E. the Minister of Foreign Affairs during 25/07/2000 - 29/08/2000.
• Worked at the Embassy of the State of Qatar / Washington D.C ( Third Secretary- First secretary ) 30/08/2002 - 29/10/2010.
• Worked at the office of H.E. the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 31/10/2010 to 30/07/2011.
• Worked at the office of the Assistant Minister for Follow-up affairs from 31/07/2011 to 01/07/2012.
• Worked at the Embassy of the State of Qatar/ Ankara from 02/07/2012 to 02/06/2013.
• Appointed as Consul General of the State of Qatar / Mumbai from 18/09/2013 to 17/05/2016.
• Served as a Diplomat at the Ministry’s headquarters from 18/05/2016 to 22/07/2018.
• Appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the African Union from 17/07/2018 - 30/09/2023.
• Served at the Ministry’s headquarters From 01/10/2023 -16/12/2025.
