H.E. the Ambassador Jassim bin Jaber J.B. Al-Sorour participated in a Reception hosted by H.E. Adel Ibrahim, Ambassador of Egypt to Sri Lanka, in honor of H.E. Dr. Khaled Al-Enani, former Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt and the Egyptian candidate for the post of Director-General of UNESCO, on Monday (5) at Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo.

H.E. the Ambassador Jassim bin Jaber J.B. Al-Sorour participated in a luncheon hosted by H.E. Ihab Khalil, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Sri Lanka, at the Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo on April 30, 2025, on the occasion of presenting his credentials as Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Sri Lanka.

H.E. Ambassador Jassim bin Jaber J.B. Al-Sorour, in his capacity as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, received at the Embassy today (28), H.E. Purna Bahadur Nepali, on the occasion of the presentation of his Letter of Credence as the Ambassador of Nepal to Sri Lanka.

H.E. the Ambassador Jassim bin Jaber J.B. Al-Suroor visited the Vatican Embassy in Colombo on Thursday (24) to offer his condolences over the demise of Pope Francis.

H.E. Ambassador Jassim bin Jaber Jassim Al-Surour received at the Embassy today (23) a delegation from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Interior of Qatar.
