H.E. the Ambassador Jassim bin Jaber J.B Al- Sorour attended the closing ceremony of the Second Holy Quran memorization competition organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in cooperation with the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs in Sri Lanka on Monday (20).

H.E. the Ambassador Jassim bin Jaber J.B Al -Sorour received at his office today (9) H.E. Mrs. Sithara Khan Azad, Ambassador-designate of Sri Lanka to the State of Qatar. During the meeting the bilateral relations existing between the two friendly countries and the ways to enhance them to serve the interests of the people of both countries were discussed.

H.E. the Ambassador Jassim bin Jaber J.B Al- Sorour met with Hon. Mr. Arun Hemachandra, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment of Sri Lanka and Mr. D.J.A.S De S. Rajakaruna, Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka on Wednesday (8).

The Arab Diplomatic Corps in Sri Lanka hosted a lunch banquet on Tuesday (7) at ITC Ratnadipa Hotel Colombo, in honor of H.E. Adel Ibrahim, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of presenting his credentials as Ambassador of Egypt to Sri Lanka.

H.E. the Ambassador Jassim bin Jaber J.B Al- Sorour, in his capacity as Head of the Arab Ambassadors Council, hosted the meeting of the Arab Ambassadors Council at the Embassy premises today ( January 07).
