The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Colombo celebrated Qatar’s National Sports Day on 14 February 2023 in Colombo, based on the vision of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to raise awareness on the importance of sports and its role in the life of the individuals and community as a platform for a healthy life, apart from sports being an integral part of Arab and Islamic culture and heritage.

A number of sports activities were organized on this occasion, with the participation of Chargé d' Affaires Mr. Ali Salem Al Nuaimi, Embassy staff and Qatar Charity staff.
