You can reach Sri Lanka directly from Doha via Qatar Airways (there are three flights daily), also Sri Lankan Airlines which has daily flights or any other flights operating in between Gulf countries and Sri Lanka.
There are road networks linking between cities. The preferred mode of transport is to hire a private vehicle through the tourism offices or hotels.
