The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Colombo celebrated Qatar’s National Sports Day on 14 February 2023 in Colombo, based on the vision of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani

On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, it gives me great pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to H.E. the President Ranil Wickremesinghe, the Government and the friendly people of Sri Lanka.

The Ministry of Interior of Qatar announced the validity extension of the Hayya Card for fans and organizers. The cardholders will be allowed to enter the State of Qatar starting from the date of this announcement until 24 January 2024 as per the specified conditions below.
