Following the directives of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the State of Qatar has pledged $50mn for the initiative of the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to create an Arab fund to support technology and digital economy.

His Excellency the Minister of Finance of the State of Qatar Ali Shareef Al-Emadi made this announcement during the fourth Arab Economic and Social Development Summit held in Beirut Chaired by the Lebanese Republic, which concluded on Sunday, 20/1/2019.
