The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Colombo celebrated Qatar’s National Sports Day on 08 February 2022 in Colombo, based on the vision of H.H the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to raise awareness on the importance of sports and its role in the life of the individuals and community as a platform for a healthy life, apart from sports being an integral part of Arab and Islamic culture and heritage.

The National Sports Day events held under the patronage of H.E the Ambassador  Jassim bin Jaber J.B Al-Sorour.
